A little bit about yourself – what’s your story?

I am a visual effects artist from Germany and work in the movie industry as my day job.

I studied communication design and animation in university. Since my teenage years I was fascinated with words and how their meaning can change with context.

“It sometimes feels like a fight with yourself, but on the other hand that’s better than fighting with others, I guess.”

What’s your favourite part of the creative process?

I love it when an idea changes while I work on it. There’s something very rewarding in starting out with one goal in mind and arriving somewhere completely else.

Your work is extremely unique – tell us about your artistic style.

I have two projects. The one that started my journey into NFTS/H=N is my visual poetry/experimental Typography project.

I use black fonts on white, squared canvases to play around with meaning of words, sentences quotes.

My second project is more on the experimental side of things: I run ink drawings/book pages through various 2D filters to create abstract pieces.

Any downside to being an artist – apart from cleaning your tools?

It sometimes feels like a fight with yourself, but on the other hand that’s better than fighting with others, I guess.

Shoutout to your top source of inspiration? Person, book, snack… go wild.

Badly written movie dialogues, commercials, things that pop into my head … and toxic motivational quotes.
